Bright Agrotech Has Solved Some Major Aquaponic Issues

August 6, 2013

I’m still awaiting an answer to my comment on their YouTube page, but I’d almost be certain that these guys can use insect controls in their aquaponic greenhouse system because of their zip towers. These are their patented design, and actually keep the plant surface runoff from directly coming into contact with the water the fish live in. With this feature, you no longer have to worry so much about spraying and having whatever you sprayed become part of your fish tank’s environment. Fish are highly susceptible to most toxins, and people bump into this problem every time insects take hold and won’t go away in any aquaponic set up. Commercial size systems are bound to attract pests, and finally seeing a practical solution to this issue leads me to believe that these are some of the smartest guys in the business, hence their name. If you are interested in this sort of thing check out their YouTube channel and be amazed at what a couple of guys in the Rocky mountains have been able to achieve, even with -30 degree days in the winter.
