At Least It Will Be A Good Show

June 25, 2013

Ever hear of the super comet ISON? I hadn’t really either until I read about it in an obscure article on the web during my train ride this morning. Apparently, this comet hasn’t been a secret, it is just something that has never been witnessed by humanity at any point in our history. It has a 10 million year orbit, meaning that it won’t come around to this point again for another 10 million years. Obviously, our kind stands very little chance of sticking around that long to begin with, so this will definitely be a one time only event for mankind. Some say it will be our demise, some say it’s just going to be another good light show. I hope I’m somewhere out in the boonies away from the city lights so I can see it in its entirety.

If this doesn't kill us it will be amazing to watch!
