May 2010 – February 2013

-Farm Manager- Responsible for all production related activities on a 250-acre organic walnut farm.

¨Developed a fertilization program for four different varieties of walnut trees

¨Implemented an IPM program-Integrated Pest Management program

   Non-toxic methods escalate to toxic only when infestations reach critical mass

¨Monitored the farms hydrology ensuring water retention in the local aquifer

¨Brokered post-harvest deals with local clearinghouse ensuring a fair market price

¨Grew the productivity of the farm by 20% during my stay

¨Performed off season maintenance prepping trees for the following season
